"Would You Rather" Online Template

"Would You Rather", also known as "This or That" is a fun and intriguing game that is perfect for getting to know one another.

What is Would You Rather?

The game revolves around choice between hypothetical options (for example, "would you rather have a CAT or have a DOG?"). It's a fun, low pressure way for players to get to know one another, making it a great choice for first lessons and ice breakers.

How to Play "Would You Rather" or "This or That"

The game is extremely simple. Load the template onto your whiteboard in Lessonspace, and all users will have access. Decide on a way to indicate your choice - for example, you might assign a colour to each user, and get them to add a dot or check mark beside their choice. Students can also select their favourite emoji to use to vote for their choice. Read out the choices, and give everyone a chance to pick between the two options.

This game is fun for all ages. If you prefer, you can customise the choices to their specific interests, reading level, and subject to make sure it's a good fit.

How to use the "Would You Rather" Template

1. Preview the template: Click the preview button to view a demo of the template, or "Add to my library" to add it to your resource library right away.

2. Use the template in a Space: There are two ways to get the template onto your whiteboard in tour Space. The first option is to "Add to my library", which will add it to your Lessonspace resource library. When you start a lesson, simply locate the template in your library and start using it. This is perfect if you have a classroom already set up and simply want to add the template to it. The second option is to "Preview" the template and then select "Create a new space with this template". This will launch a brand new space, with the template ready to use on a whiteboard.

3. Customise it: Add your own choices to the bottom of the list, or replace the existing options with new ones that fit the subject you're teaching. The game is fully adaptable, and you can save your edited version to your library for future use too.
